Types of scholarships

Rotary clubs offer scholarships for secondary, undergraduate, or graduate study.

Rotary club scholarships are given by individual clubs and are open to anyone except Rotary members and their families. Contact your local club for application information and eligibility requirements.

    Find your local Rotary club

The Rotary Foundation offers scholarships for college graduates and professionals to study peace and conflict resolution or water and sanitation.

Rotary peace fellowships are available to candidates who want to participate in a master’s degree or certificate program at one of our six partner universities. Learn about Rotary peace fellowship eligibility requirements and restrictions.

Foundation water scholarships are available to candidates who have already been admitted to one of IHE Delft Institute for Water Education eligible 18-month Master of science degree programs. Learn about the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education scholarship application process.

Want to offer a scholarship?

Rotary clubs can apply to The Rotary Foundation for district and global grants to support scholarships.

Global grants are for graduate students studying abroad in one of Rotary’s six causes:

  1. Promoting peace
  2. Fighting disease
  3. Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
  4. Saving mothers and children
  5. Supporting education
  6. Growing local economies

Scholarships last from one to four years and can include an entire degree program. Global grant scholarships are funded using cash or District Designated Funds matched by the World Fund.

District grants can be used to sponsor secondary school, undergraduate, or graduate students studying any subject, either locally or abroad. The scholarship may cover any length of time, from a six-week language training program to a year or more of university study.

Rotary members are essential to recruiting qualified candidates for Rotary Peace Fellowships. You can advance peace in troubled areas around the world by promoting peace fellowships and supporting peace fellow candidates through the application process.

Rotary clubs and districts can recommend IHE Delft Institute for Water Education scholarship candidates and interview applicants who have been admitted to the institute in one of three master’s degree programs.

Reflecting Camp's Glow Fundraiser YMCA Camp Collins

Join us Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 for our 10th annual Reflecting Camp's Glow Silent Auction and Dinner celebrating campers past, present and future. Support raised at the event will benefit the Kids to Camp Scholarship Fund. Food, fun and fundraising will be shared as we celebrate YMCA Camp Collins' 92 years of impact.

The event attendees include local community and business leaders, camp alumni, and parents of campers. In 2017, we raised over $26,000 during this event. This year our goal is $35,000. The money raised through this event and other donations allows us to offer a camp experience to over 374 children.

The event is held at YMCA Camp Collins and begins at 5 PM with a silent auction in our new Rusty's Red Bird Lodge, located in the heart of camp. Dinner and program will follow in Collins Memorial Lodge. Child care with supper will be available during the event. Please RSVP for yourself and children by Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018.

If you would like to donate an item for the silent auction please click the "Silent Auction Donation" link at the top of this page.

For more information about this event contact the Camp Office at 503.663.5813.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, view our sponsorship package and return to YMCA Camp Collins by mail, or email us
