Reflecting Camp's Glow Fundraiser YMCA Camp Collins

Join us Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 for our 10th annual Reflecting Camp's Glow Silent Auction and Dinner celebrating campers past, present and future. Support raised at the event will benefit the Kids to Camp Scholarship Fund. Food, fun and fundraising will be shared as we celebrate YMCA Camp Collins' 92 years of impact.

The event attendees include local community and business leaders, camp alumni, and parents of campers. In 2017, we raised over $26,000 during this event. This year our goal is $35,000. The money raised through this event and other donations allows us to offer a camp experience to over 374 children.

The event is held at YMCA Camp Collins and begins at 5 PM with a silent auction in our new Rusty's Red Bird Lodge, located in the heart of camp. Dinner and program will follow in Collins Memorial Lodge. Child care with supper will be available during the event. Please RSVP for yourself and children by Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018.

If you would like to donate an item for the silent auction please click the "Silent Auction Donation" link at the top of this page.

For more information about this event contact the Camp Office at 503.663.5813.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, view our sponsorship package and return to YMCA Camp Collins by mail, or email us

Welcome Gresham Rotary's Newest Member Steven Mayer
After making several moves all across the country as a broadcast news reporter and anchor, Stephen is thrilled to call the Pacific Northwest home. As a broadcast journalist, Stephen enjoyed the advocacy that came with serving the community. He loved fighting for the little guy, and telling the stories of people and businesses who are doing the right thing in the community. Stephen is excited to continue that advocacy for consumers and business owners all across Oregon. When Stephen isn’t working, you’ll find him spending time with family. He and his wife recently welcomed their first child to the world and are thrilled he is finally sleeping through the night! Stephen also loves the outdoors and can’t wait to take his young son on his first hike. He’s also a pilot and says there’s no better way to take in the beautiful PNW scenery than from several thousand feet up.
Club Board Meeting
Meeting Location Change
The Club Board Meeting Monday Jan. 15th at noon will be at Nic Castaneda's Office Board Room, lower level, 1300 NE Linden Ave.  Gresham.
Since it is MLK holiday, the bank is closed.  Please bring your own lunch.
Birch Community Services Annual Club Luncheon
Fun was had by all who attended the Birch Community Services Annual Club Luncheon.  President Carlos Noriega presented a check through the club as a donation during the luncheon.  We were presented with an amazing lunch as well as stories from past recipients of services.  The company was great, the stories were great, and our hosts were great.
Dogwood Pet Hospital is collecting pet food for SnowCap
Dogwood Pet Hospital is collecting pet food for SnowCap. This is our 7th holiday season for this program. Last year, we collected 4500 pounds!
SnowCap distributes emergency food boxes for families that fall on tough times. They get a 3-day supply for a family of four, then go home, look at the hungry pets, and share their own food. With our efforts, those food boxes have dog and cat food for families with pets.
Canned and dry pet foods are welcome. Open bags of dry are fine, as all is repackaged anyway.
If anyone wants to help, please bring donated pet food to Dogwood Pet Hospital, 1440 E. Powell Blvd., Gresham.
